At PiShop we're committed to getting our goodies into your hands responsibly... that means that we've had to rapidly adapt to the changing regulations and find creative ways in supporting you while still always remaining compliant with the law.

Summary



How we're able to support you during the COVID-19 lockdown across the various lockdown levels:

South Africa has implemented a COVID-19 Risk Adjusted Strategy which outlines which businesses can operate during the global pandemic, here is how we've adapted to support you during this trying time.

Level 5 - We'll still be taking online orders but we're only able to process orders in support of other Essential Businesses, if you have a formal "Essential Service" certificate (issued by the CIPC) we'll be able to process your order, orders without a certificate will be held until lockdown restrictions ease... during Level 5 special shipping via Courier Guy is enforced, collections limited to Essential Service permit holders only, and further limited to specific times of that day... and no in-store orders will be permitted.

Level 4 - We'll be taking all of your online orders as eCommerce is now fully allowed so all orders can be processed and fulfilled, collections will still be limited to certain times of day (09H00 - 16H00) for pre-paid orders only and no in-store orders will be permitted.

Level 3 - We'll return to business as usual selling all of the goodies listed on our site however collections will still be limited to certain times of day(09H00 - 16H00) for pre-paid orders only and no in-store orders will be permitted.

Level 2 - Business as usual and collections will be allowed throughout the day for pre-paid orders only however no in-store orders will be permitted.

How we're keeping you and ourselves safe

We've partnered with some of South Africa's leading couriers to ensure that your goodies get to you safely and within a reasonable time period, each of these couriers have their own plans in place in protecting you as well as your goodies that they've been entrusted with delivering, some of these plans involve the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, "no-touch" signing for parcels and revised operating procedures... we ask that you work with them but be safe and follow the guidance as issued by the World Health Organisation, The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), and the COVID-19 Corona Virus South African Resource Portal.

Where possible we're working from home, all PiShop staff that are able to perform their duties from home have been encouraged to do so, this does however mean that we're still finding our feet in how to give great service so we might be a little slower to respond to support tickets or give technical assistance... we're sorry in advance if this happens, but please reach out and let us know how we can do better.
