It's blue! It's thin! It's the Arduino Pro Mini! SparkFun's minimal design approach to Arduino. This is a 5V Arduino running the 16MHz bootloader. Arduino Pro Mini does not come with connectors populated so that you can solder in any connector or wire with any orientation you need. We recommend first time Arduino users start with the Uno R3. It's a great board that will get you up and running quickly. The Arduino Pro series is meant for users that understand the limitations of system voltage (5V), lack of connectors, and USB off board.
We really wanted to minimize the cost of an Arduino. In order to accomplish this we used all SMD components, made it two layer, etc. This board connects directly to the FTDI Basic Breakout board and supports auto-reset. The Arduino Pro Mini also works with the FTDI cable but the FTDI cable does not bring out the DTR pin so the auto-reset feature will not work. There is a voltage regulator on board so it can accept voltage up to 12VDC. If you're supplying unregulated power to the board, be sure to connect to the “RAW” pin and not VCC.
Features:
- ATmega328 running at 16MHz with external resonator (0.5% tolerance)
- 0.8mm Thin PCB
- USB connection off board
- Supports auto-reset
- 5V regulator
- Max 150mA output
- Over current protected
- Weighs less than 2 grams!
- DC input 5V up to 12V
- On board Power and Status LEDs
- Analog Pins: 8
- Digital I/Os: 14

If you want to add beeps, tones or alerts to your Raspberry Pi project, you require a Piezo Buzzer! This mini transducer is small but loud, and can be driven with a 1-6V peak-to-peak square wave. To use, connect one pin to ground (either one) and the other pin to a square wave out from a timer or microcontroller. For the loudest tones, stay around 4 KHz. For extra loudness, you can connect both pins to a microcontroller and swap which pin is high or low ('differential drive') for double the volume.
This one plops perfectly into a breadboard and has short legs, so can also easily be mounted on a PCB!
Please Note. This item is externally driven, e.g. requires a microcontroller to produce a tone.

The maximum speed for a 28byj-48 stepper motor is roughly 10-15 rpm at 5 V.
The 28BYJ-48 motor runs in full step mode, each step corresponds to a rotation of 11.25°. That means there are 32 steps per revolution (360°/11.25° = 32). In addition, the motor has a 1/64 reduction gear set.
The power consumption of the motor is around 240mA.
The ULN2003 is one of the most common motor driver ICs, consisting of an array of 7 Darlington transistor pairs, each pair is capable of driving loads of up to 500mA and 50V. Four out of seven pairs are used on this board.
The board has four LEDs that show activity on the four control input lines (to indicate stepping state). They provide a nice visual when stepping.
The board also comes with an ON/OFF jumper to isolate power to the stepper Motor.

UBEC's (Universal Battery Eliminator Circuit's) are simply DC to DC step down voltage regulators! This UBEC is perfect for the Raspberry Pi, as it's able to take high voltages (5.5V up to 26V), and outputs a consistent safe voltage of 5V at up to 3A nominal or 5A max! The Hobbywing 5V 3A UBEC is a switch-mode type, which results in it being much more efficient than linear type UBEC's (so your batteries will last longer!)
UBEC's are perfect for applications where you plan to use the Raspberry Pi in a circuit with high voltages such as robots where you'll be driving motors!
Due to the voltage drop caused by the Raspberry Pi, it is recommended to input a minimum of 6.5V to receive a stable 5V output. Anything lower than 6.5V will result in a low voltage warning on the Pi.
Please Note. The Hobbywing UBEC can be set to output either 5V or 6V using an onboard jumper select! Please DOUBLE CHECK your output voltage is correct before connecting your microcontroller or circuit!
Features
- Designed with an advanced switch mode DC-DC regulator IC.

This waterproof ultrasonic distance sensor is for those applications that are a bit more rugged! 25cm - 450cm sensing range.
We have used the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor many times and for many good reasons. It is pretty easy to use, it performs well, and it is very inexpensive. For collision avoidance robots or intruder detection, this sensor is usually all you’ll need.
However, using the HC-SR04 outside is a different story. It is a pretty fragile device and can easily be damaged by dirt, or even high winds. And, above all, it is not waterproof.
For these circumstances you can use this sensor, in more weathered states, even outdoors
