PIR Infrared Motion Sensor (HC-SR501) (pir sensor big)

Description:

PIR sensors, often referred to as, "Passive Infrared" or "IR motion"  sensors, enable you to sense motion. Everything emits a small amount of  infrared radiation (IR), and the hotter something is, the more radiation  it emits. PIR sensors are able to detect a change in average IR levels  of their detection zone (e.g. when a human enters a room, that room will  increase in temperature slightly) and hence sense motion.

This  one's great, as it can be powered  via the Raspberry Pi's 5V output, and  be read directly from the Raspberry Pi's GPIO input (as the sensor has a  digital 3.3V output!)

This PIR includes an adjustable delay  before firing (approx 0.5 - 200 seconds), has adjustable sensitivity and  two M2 mounting holes! It runs on 4.5V-20V power (or 3V by bypassing  the regulator with a bit of soldering) and has a digital signal output   (3.3V) high, 0V low. Its sensing range is up to 7 meters in a 100  degree cone.

Specifications:

  • Input Voltage: 4.5V - 20V
  • Current Draw: <50µA
  • Digital Output: 3.3V (High)
  • Digital Output: 0V (Low)
  • Working Temperature: -15°C to 70°C
  • Delay Time: 0.5 - 200 Seconds
  • Sensing Angle: 100° Cone
  • Range 5m - 7m

Dimensions:

  • Sensor Lens Diameter: 23mm
  • Length: 24.03mm
  • Width: 32.34mm
  • Height (with lens): 24.66mm
  • Centre screw hole distance: 28mm
  • Screw hole diameter: 2mm (M2)

Contents:

  • 1x HC-SR501 Motion Sensor

Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor (IR detecter 1 channel)
The sensor module light is adjustable to the environment, the working voltage is 3.3 V to 5 V.
It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving LEDs, when detecting obstacles (reflecting surface), receiving LED detects it.

After the comparator circuit processing, a green indicator will light up, at the same time the signal output interface will output a digital signal (a low level signal), can be adjusted to detection distance through the potentiometer, effective distance range 2 ~ 80 cm, easy to assemble and use. It can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, line following and so on in many projects.

Tracking Robot Car Electronic DIY Kit With Reduction Motor (DIY track robot kit)

Tracking Robot Car Electronic DIY Kit With Reduction Motor

The assembly steps:

Step 1: Welding circuit

Soldering part is simpler, welding sequence according to the principle of component level from low to high, the first welding eight resistance, is important to use multimeter to confirm resistance is correct, D4, D5 R13 R14 can temporarily not welding, integrated circuit chips can temporarily not inserted

Step 2: Mechanical assembly

The red line is connected to the 3V positive power supply, the yellow line grounding, excess wire can be used for motor wire.

Step 3: The installation of a photoelectric circuit

Photosensitive resistance and light-emitting diodes (note polarity) is reverse-mounted on the PCB, and the ground distance is about 5 mm, both photosensitive resistance and light-emitting diodes are 5 mm distance. Finally, you can power test.

Step 4: Vehicle debugging

The right direction is along the universal wheel direction, if you press and hold the left photoresistor, the wheels on the right side of the car should be rotated. Press and hold the right photoresistor, the wheels on the left side of the car should be rotated, if the car driving back, can also exchange the wiring of two motors, if the one side normal and the other side back up, as long as you can swap wiring of back side.

Note: We don't supply any manuals please note this before you buy it.

Package includes:

Raspberry Pi "NoIR" Infrared Camera Board V2 (8MP,1080p) (camera NOIR 8MP)

The NoIR Camera V2 is the “night vision” version of the official camera board released by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera Board V2 has no Infrared filter, which makes it perfect for taking Infrared photographs or photographing objects in low light (twilight) conditions! Custom designed and manufactured by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the UK, the Raspberry Pi  NoIR Camera Board V2 features an ultra-high quality 8 megapixel Sony IMX219 image sensor (up from 5MP on the V1 camera board), and a fixed focus camera lens. The V2 camera module is capable of 3280 x 2464 pixel static images, and also supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p90 video.

The module attaches to Raspberry Pi by way of a 15 Pin Ribbon Cable, to the dedicated 15-pin MIPI Camera Serial Interface (CSI), which was designed especially for interfacing to cameras. The CSI bus is capable of extremely high data rates, and it exclusively carries pixel data to the BCM2835 processor.

The board itself is tiny, at around 25mm x 23mm x 9mm, and weighs just over 3g, making it perfect for mobile or other applications where size and weight are important.

The Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera Board V2 Features:

  • No IR Filter - Great for Low Light Conditions
  • Includes Blue Filter
  • Fixed focus lens on-board
  • 150mm CSI camera cable included
  • 8 megapixel native resolution sensor-capable of 3280 x 2464 pixel static images

Four Digit - Seven Segment Display - Red (display 7 segment red)

This lovely little (14.2mm) seven segment display provides excellent segment uniformity and is highly visible up to seven meters away. It's ultra bright, and provides great readability even in bright ambient light!

It has four digits and a decimal point on each digit, designed for numeric output, so you can use it to add a clock, timer or counter into your next project.

These displays are multiplexed, common-cathode. What that means it that you can use a 74HC595 or just 8 microcontroller pins if you can spare them to control the 8 anodes (7-seg + decimal) at about ~15mA each, and then connect NPN transistors or a TPIC6B595 to the cathodes to sink the 8*20mA = ~120mA maximum per digit.

This is an ultra bright RED colour.

Specifications

  • 100mcd
  • 14.2mm (0.56") digit height
  • Color: red (630nm)
  • Common cathode display
  • Maximum power dissipation per segment: 66mW
  • Maximum pulse peak forward current per segment (1/10th duty cycle, 0.1ms pulse width): 100mA
  • Maximum forward current per segment: 20mA
  • Maximum reverse voltage: 5V
  • Maximum reverse current: 20µA
  • Typical forward voltage: 2.1V at 20mA
  • Maximum forward voltage: 2.5V at 20mA
  • Operating temperature range: -30°C - +70°C
  • Typical luminous intensity: 20mcd
