Shipping

We have a few shipping options all with their own costs that can be seen when checking out an order.

These are our options available:

  • Flat Rate Shipping
  • Fastway
  • Aramex
  • Courier Guy

Average shipment times are 2-5 working days depending on the area in which you are located. These areas are called Outlaying areas (sometimes also called grey areas) shipment times can take as long as 2 weeks. Our couriers collect daily, usually before 15:00.

Please note that during the Festive season the couriers are reporting a 3-5 business days delay on all deliveries.

Yes, you can request quotes by contacting [email protected]. The cost involved will be significantly higher than our standard deliveries, and will be done through DHL.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive an email containing a link to track your parcel with your selected courier.

Since our couriers only collect from us once per day, all tracking will show a message similar to "Scanning pending" until your selected courier has collected your parcel from our warehouse.

Pricing

Yes, all prices displayed are shown inclusive of VAT by default, if you select a shipping destination outside of South Africa, then our prices will be adjusted to remove VAT. All products listed on invoices are excluding VAT, as it will be calculated at the end.

Yes (excluding items with sales limits and items on special). All products have bulk pricing enabled where possible. If you are looking for a much larger order contact us at [email protected] and we'll generate a custom quote.

Products

No, but you can add the item to your wishlist and we'll notify you when it arrives but to avoid possible disappointment we only allow placing orders for items we actually have in stock (stock availability can be seen on every product page)

No, discontinued items will not be available for purchase. Some items are exceptions to this rule if the product itself is fully functional and will not cause harm in any way.

Yes, all of our products are covered under a standard warranty period of 6 months. Official Raspberry Pi boards have an extended period of 12 months. You can view our full policy regarding returns here. Under section 3.5.3 of our returns policy, warranties do not cover any damage that you yourself have caused to the product.

Shopping

Yes, we are closed on public holidays and the week between Christmas and New year. We will remain open for normal business hours the rest of the time. Business hours is from 8am to 4pm Mondays to Fridays.

You can use your store credit after placing your order, when checking out. Log into your account, place your order and choose 'pay with balance' on check out. You can make an EFT payment if your order is more than what your credit is.

It will be much quicker if you generate a quote yourself. You can do so by creating an account/logging into your account, adding your products to your cart and under 'Shopping Cart' you can click on the button labelled "View Quote".

We are predominantly an online store, but we do welcome walk-in customers too. You are more than welcome to visit our store and shop with us during our standard operating hours.
