Payment Policy

1. Displaying of prices

1.1 All pricing displayed on the web is inclusive of all relevant fees and applicable taxes, in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without any warnings or notifications.
1.2 All prices displayed, unless otherwise mentioned, exclude the cost of delivery.

2. Validity of orders

2.1 All orders placed will be deemed binding and will remain valid provided that payment is received within 7 days.
2.2 All orders where payment has not been received within 7 days will be automatically cancelled and cancellation notice will be sent via email.
2.3 By you placing a product into your shopping cart, onto a quote or into your wishlist does not constitute a sale nor is such products, its price nor its quantities reserved. In the event that you complete the purchase cycle for such products at a later stage PiShop cannot be liable to honour any Price changes or if such products are not available.
2.4 PiShop reserves the right, for purposes of preventing suspected fraud, to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and/or to cancel any sale concluded between you and PiShop, in whole or in part, on notice to you. PiShop shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by you, and accepts no other liability which may arise as a result of such refusal to process any order/sale.
2.5 By submitting a sales order through any of the PiShop website services, you warrant that you are acting within the bounds of the law and that you have the legal capacity to transact, or have the mandate to transact to do so. This includes that you have obtained the express permission (indemnity) of the person and or Business whose information you are submitting / using through any of our services and that you are not in breach of the Consumer Protection Act or National Credit Act, and / or any other applicable legislation in any way. You indemnify PiShop, its Members and employees from any claim and / or liability from any third party arising out of your instructions and/or use of the service(s).

3. Credit

3.1 Absolutely no credit can or will be issued by PiShop to any customer under any circumstances, only once a customer’s account has been paid in full will products be released for delivery/collection.

4. Payment Methods

4.1. Bank Deposits and Electronic Funds Transfer

4.1.1 Should you select to pay via a bank deposit or Electronic Fund Transfer: On completion of your order an instruction will be emailed to you with the banking details of our Nedbank account.
4.1.2 PLEASE NOTE: Your order number is to be used in the reference section of the deposit slip or the electronic transfer, we will not be held liable for any delays should you fail to include these.
4.1.3 Depending on with whom you bank, some payments may take up to three business days to reflect in our account. In such circumstances there will be a delay in having your order delivered or collected.
4.1.4 Due to it being a common fraud method, PiShop does not accept a proof of payment from customers or directly via banks, Goods are only released for collection or delivery once the funds have cleared directly into our Nedbank Account.
4.1.5 Should you select the “Collection from Store” delivery method; you will also need to provide proof of identification before the order will be released.

4.2. PayPal

4.2.1 Historically PiShop supported payment via the Paypal payment gateway, this has since been temporarily discontinued and will be available again soon.

4.3. PayFast

4.3.1 PiShop makes use of PayFast (www.payfast.co.za) as a payment gateway, through PayFast we are able to accept payments via debit and credit cards, instant EFT, Masterpass, MobiCred and SCode.
4.3.2 When making use of payment processing through our PayFast payment gateway, you confirm your understanding and accepting of the PayFast End User Licence Agreement which is incorporated by reference (which means that it forms part of these Terms and Conditions).

4.4. Cash

4.4.1 Should you select the “Collection from Store” delivery method; you will be able to make use of our Nedbank Card facilities on-site.
4.4.2 PiShop does not accept cash payments, either on delivery or collection.

4.5. PayGate (Coming Soon)

4.5.1 Detailed description of goods and/or services - PiShop (Pty) Ltd is a business in the eCommerce industry that specializes in the supply of Single Board Computers and Accessories.
4.5.2 Delivery policy - Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 business day(s) and delivery confirmed by way email or SMS as per customer's preferences, delivery is effected through our Courier partners.
4.5.3 Return and Refunds policy - The provision of goods and services by PiShop (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, PiShop will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee.
4.5.4 Customer Privacy Policy - PiShop (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.
4.5.5 Payment Options Accepted - Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the PiShop (Pty) Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
4.5.6 Card acquiring and security - Card transactions will be acquired for PiShop (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
4.5.7 Customer details separate from card details - Customer details will be stored by PiShop (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site (and are not stores on the PiShop website at all). For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
4.5.8 Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency - The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
4.5.9 Responsibility - PiShop (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
4.5.10 Country of domicile - This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and PiShop (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
4.5.10 Variation - PiShop (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

5. Gift Vouchers and Coupons

5.1 PiShop may from time to time make physical or electronic gift vouchers ("Gift Vouchers") and promotional coupons or discounts ("Coupons") available for use on the Website towards the purchase of PiShop Goods. Gift Vouchers and Coupons can only be redeemed while they are valid and their expiry dates cannot be extended. More specifically:
  5.1.1 Gift Vouchers
   5.1.1.1 Gift Vouchers that are purchased by registered users are valid for 1 year after Sale. Gift Vouchers that PiShop gives away for free are valid for the period stated thereon. In each case, if your Voucher has not been used within that period, it will expire.
   5.1.1.2 Gift Vouchers cannot be used to buy other Gift Vouchers or Coupons. They do not accrue interest and are not refundable for cash once purchased or otherwise obtained. If your Gift Voucher value is less than the amount required to cover the full order you wish to place, you may make up the difference by paying via one of our other payment methods.
   5.1.1.3 PiShop is not responsible for any harm due to the loss, unauthorised use or unauthorised distribution of a Gift Voucher, after it has delivered the Gift Voucher to you or the email address nominated by you.
  5.1.2 Coupons
   5.1.2.1 There are two types of Coupons; a Coupon with a fixed amount of a discount, e.g. R100 off ("Fixed Coupon"), and a Coupon with a percentage discount, e.g. 10% off ("Percentage Coupon").
   5.1.2.2 Coupons are issued in PiShop’s sole discretion and we are entitled at any time to correct, cancel or reject a Coupon for any reason (including without limitation where a Coupon has been distributed in an unauthorised manner). Users do not have a right to Coupons, and Coupons cannot be earned. Coupons are issued under specific terms and conditions regulating when and how they may be used.
   5.1.2.3 each Coupon can only be used once;
   5.1.2.4 only one Coupon can be used per order;
   5.1.2.5 only one Coupon can be used on the Website per person per promotion/campaign;
   5.1.2.6 a Coupon must be used at checkout – it cannot be used later on existing orders; and
   5.1.2.7 the value of the Coupon will be set off against the value of your shopping basket and the balance remaining, if any, will be lost.
   5.1.2.8 Coupons cannot be used to buy Gift Vouchers or other Coupons, and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit. PiShop is not responsible for any harm due to the loss, unauthorised use or distribution of a Coupon.
