Circuit Playground Express is the next step towards a perfect introduction to electronics and programming. We've taken the original Circuit Playground Classic and made it even better! Not only did we pack even more sensors in, we also made it even easier to program.

Start your journey with Microsoft MakeCode block-based or Javascript programming. Or, you can follow along with code.org CS Discoveries. Then, you can use the same board to try CircuitPython, with the Python interpreter running right on the Express. As you progress, you can advance to using Arduino IDE, which has full support of all the hardware down to the low level, so you can make powerful projects.

LilyPad 328 Main Board ATmega328P ATmega328 16M For Arduino (Lilypad)

This is the LilyPad main board consisting of an ATmega328 using 5V DC power.

The latest version of the LilyPad supports automatic reset for even easier programming.

The back side of the LilyPad is now completely flat! We now use a surface mount programming connector to keep the header from poking through.

Features:
This is the newest revision of our FTDI BASIC. It now uses a SMD 6-pin header on the bottom, which makes it smaller and more compact. Functionality has remained the same.

This is a basic breakout board for the FTDI FT232RL USB to serial IC. The pinout of this board matches the FTDI cable to work for Arduino and cloned for 5V for Arduino boards. It can also be used for general serial applications. The major difference with this board is that it brings out the DTR pin as opposed to the RTS pin of the FTDI cable.  This is a really nice feature to have and allows a sketch to be downloaded without having to hit the reset button. This board will auto reset any for Arduino board that has the reset pin brought out to a 6-pin connector.

The pins labeled BLK and GRN correspond to the colored wires on the FTDI cable. The black wire on the FTDI cable is GND, green is CTS. Use these BLK and GRN pins to align the FTDI basic board with for Arduino target.

This board has TX and RX LEDs that make it a bit better to use over the FTDI cable. You can actually see serial traffic on the LEDs to verify if the board is working.

This board was designed to decrease the cost of for Arduino development and increase ease of use (the auto-reset feature rocks!). For Arduino Pro boards and For LilyPads use this type of connector.

Description:

Sure, your flashing, chip-tune playing t-shirt is really cool at the party... but at some point you need to turn it off. And yes, you could just pull the battery, or maybe you've even sewn a LilyPad slide switch in-line. Wouldn't it be nice if there was just a switch on the battery? Well look no further.

This LilyPad Coin Cell Battery Holder has a small slide switch installed on the board, in-line with the power so you can shut off your project and save batteries. This slide switch is the same as is found on the LilyPad slide switch board, so it's not easy to accidentally turn off or on.

Just like the original Coin Cell Battery Holder, this simple board holds a 20mm coin cell battery (such as a CR2032) and gives you 4 connection points (two positive and two negative) for sewing into your project.

LilyPad Buzzer module (T1 wearable buzzer)

 This is a small buzzer for the LilyPad system. Use 2 I/O pins on the LilyPad main board and create different noises based on the different frequency of I/O toggling. Loud enough to hear inside a pocket but not obtrusively loud.

Please note: This is an inductive buzzer meaning that is will act as a short to ground if you are not actively driving it. We recommend you put both I/O pins to low (0V) when the buzzer is not used. Also, it's come to our attention that washing these buzzers will damage them. Until we've figured out a solution to this, avoid washing any portion of your project that contains one of these buzzers.

Electro-Fashion, LED Flasher Module Kit (T1 LED Flasher Module Kit)
Product Description

This unit provides a simple way of adding flashing white LEDs to a textiles project using conductive thread. The unit is programmed with a number of flashing patterns, which are selected by a push button on the main board. Pressing this button cycles through the following patterns: all LEDs constantly on, slow flash all on all off, fast flash each in turn and turned off. The device features auto-off, which turns the unit off after 30 minutes to preserve battery life.

This kit is supplied pre-built so requires no soldering. Each kit comprises three small PCBs. The largest of the three PCBs holds an LED plus the control electronics, battery and a push button. On both of the remaining PCBs there is an LED, these are connected to the main board with conductive thread (supplied).

Depending upon flash pattern the battery lasts for approximately two days of constant use.
