Single-cell lithium base battery charger & protection module. The charging will be via a micro B connector. Lithium base battery includes Li-po and Li-ion battery as the charging and discharging characteristic is similar.

The USB micro B connector power input offers direct charging using widely available nowadays with power bank and also Android phone charger. With a maximum charging current of 1A, your battery can be charged faster and of course, do make sure the 5V input has sufficient power to provide more than 1A.

It comes with a TP4056 charging IC.

Using the module

  • Connect micro USB cable for power, or 5V DC to pads marked IN+ and IN- on left-hand side of the module
  • Connect cell to charge to B+/B- pads on right-hand side of module
  • A load (something for the battery to power) can be connected to the OUT+/OUT- pads on the right-hand side
  • Important! Disconnect load when charging
  • The red LED indicates chaging in progress, green LED indicates charging has finished.
  • Never charge your battery at a rate greater than 1C.

CH340 USB to TTL Serial Cable (USB CH340 serial cable)

CH340 is the new popular USB to UART converter/bridge for maker. It is being widely used in many development boards which includes:


This is a cable that embeds CH340 in it and extended the useful pins out to female headers.

The cable is the easiest way ever to connect to your microcontroller/WiFi router serial console port. Inside the big USB plug is the CH340 USB <-> Serial conversion chip and at the end of the 1-meter cable are four-wire:

  • Red is power, or VCC, 5VDC
  • Black is ground or 0V
  • White is RXI input to USB's UART port, Receive input of USB's UART
  • Green is TXO output of USB's UART port, Transmit output of USB's UART

The power pins provide 5V @ 500mA direct from the USB port and the RX/TX pins are 5.0V logic for interfacing with the most common 5V logic level chipsets.

Because of the separated pin headers, this cable is ideal for powering and connecting up to the debug/login console on the ESP32-CAM as ESP32's IO pins are 5V tolerant. We have tested this USB to UART converter with ESP32-CAM and it works fine.

This is easier to use than an FTDI cable in many cases because the wires are separated. Note that we call this a "TTL cable" (since that's what they're called) but technically it's CMOS logic.

It will appear as COM port after being plugged into the computer/laptop's USB port and after driver installation (1st and one time only).

Note: This cable is NOT SUITABLE for Arduino re-programming such as a BBFuino, Pro-Mini, etc. because it does not have the DTR/RTS wire necessary for initiating the bootloader reboot sequence.

In case your thermal pads for the Raspberry Pi mainboard are getting bad or old, you can use these pads to replace them.

It comes in two pieces, one dedicated for the CPU (in square shape) while another is meant for the RAM IC (in rectangle shape). Both sides of each thermal pad are adhesive and of course, come with a protective sheet that you need to peel off before sticking it to the IC or heatsink surface.
