2x16 Character LCD is most popular display component for small controller like Arduino, but most of these LCD uses parallel interface. In most of the case, you will need 10 pins to control it or to display message on it. 8-pin are for the data, Enable and
MCP23017 Port Expander (MCP23017 IC)
Need more I/O's on your microcontroller? You need an MCP23017 port expander chip!
1.3-inch 4-pin Pre-Soldered OLED Display Module, 128x64 Pixels, IIC/I2C OLED SH1306 - White (1.3inch OLED SH1306 White)
The 1.3-inch OLED display is a high-contrast, compact screen ideal for adding user interfaces, data readouts, or graphical feedback to your microcontroller projects.
Adafruit Qwiic / Stemma QT 5 Port Hub (Adafruit Stemma Hub)
This 5-Port Passive Hub board has 5 vertical JST SH 1mm connectors in a row, all with the power, ground and SDA/SCL pins connected. There are also breadboard breakout pins if you need them. Use this hub to add as many I2C devices to the bus as you need.
STEMMA QT / Qwiic JST-SH 4-pin to Male Jumper Wires (150mm) (150mm stemma/Qqiic male)
This 4-wire cable is a little over 150mm long and fitted with JST-SH (Qwiic/STEMMA QT) female 4-pin connector on one end, and male jumper wires on the other.
STEMMA QT / Qwiic JST-SH 4-pin Cable to Female Jumper Wires (150mm) (150mm stemma/Qqiic female)
This 4-wire cable is a little over 150mm long and fitted with JST-SH (Qwiic/STEMMA QT) female 4-pin connector on one end, and female jumper wires on the other.
STEMMA QT/Qwiic JST-SH 4-Pin Cable (300mm) (300mm stemma/Qwiic cable)
This 4-wire cable is a little over 300mm long and fitted with JST-SH female 4-pin connectors on both ends. Compared with the chunkier JST-PH these are 1mm pitch instead of 2mm, but still have a nice latching feel, while being easy to insert and remove.
4-Pin Stemma QT/Qwiic JST-SH Cable Joiners (4-Pack) (Stemma/Qwiic Joiners)
These are handy for extending a Stemma QT or Qwiic cable if you don't have one long enough for your project, or to protect a port if you're regularly swapping out sensors/dev boards. The pin connections are 1-1, matching both sides.
STEMMA QT/Qwiic JST-SH 4-Pin Cable (200mm) (200mm stemma/Qwiic cable)
This 4-wire cable is a little over 200mm long and fitted with JST-SH female 4-pin connectors on both ends. Compared with the chunkier JST-PH these are 1mm pitch instead of 2mm, but still have a nice latching feel, while being easy to insert and remove.
Adafruit VL53L4CX Time of Flight Distance Sensor - ~1 to 6000mm - STEMMA QT / Qwiic (Ada VL53L4CX Stemma)
The Adafruit VL53L4CX Time of Flight Sensor is another great Time of Flight distance sensor from ST in the VL5 series of chips, this one is great for long distances - it goes up to 6 meters compared with 4 meter max of the VL53L1X.
Adafruit I2C Stemma QT Rotary Encoder Breakout with Encoder - STEMMA QT / Qwiic (Ada rotary encoder StemmaQT)
Rotary encoders are soooo much fun! Twist em this way, then twist them that way. Unlike potentiometers, they go all the way around and often have little detents for tactile feedback.
Adafruit Monochrome 1.12" 128x128 OLED Graphic Display (STEMMA QT / Qwiic) (Ada 1.12" OLED Stemma)
This OLED goes out to all the fans who want more pixels in a smaller size! Normally our 128x64 OLEDs are the biggest ones we've stocked that can use I2C. This one is a whopping 128x128 pixels in crisp monochrome.
Adafruit Right Angle VEML7700 Lux Sensor - I2C Light Sensor - STEMMA QT / Qwiic (Ada VEML7700 Lux StemmaQT)
Vishay has a lot of light sensors out there, and this is a nice simple lux sensor that's easy to add to any microcontroller. Most light sensors just give you a number for brighter/darker ambient lighting.
Adafruit LIS3DH Triple-Axis Accelerometer (+-2g/4g/8g/16g) STEMMA QT /Qwiic (Ada LIS3DH Accelerometer STEMMAQT)
The Adafruit LIS3DH Accelerometer Breakout packs low-power consumption, flexible I2C/SPI connectivity, and advanced motion detection into a compact, STEMMA QT-ready board—perfect for wearables, motion sensing, and battery-powered projects.
