Need to run several I2C sensors that all share the same fixed address? The SparkFun Qwiic Mux Breakout uses the TCA9548A multiplexer to split one I2C bus into eight separate channels, so you can talk to each identical-address device on its own.
Think of it as a digital rotary switch: your microcontroller selects a channel, then communicates with whatever is connected there. With ten Qwiic connectors on board (one per channel plus two pass-through ports for daisy-chaining), wiring is plug-and-play with no soldering required.
The mux's own address can be set to one of eight options, so up to eight boards can sit on a single microcontroller, giving you up to 64 devices with the same address. All pins are also broken out to a 0.1" header for breadboard or soldered connections.
