The SparkFun VR IMU Breakout - BNO086 (Qwiic) is a highly accurate 9-degrees-of-freedom orientation sensor, ideal for VR and AR headsets, robotics, drones, gesture tracking and any project that needs to know exactly which way it is facing.
It is built around CEVA's BNO086, which combines a triple-axis accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ processor. The onboard processor runs sensor fusion and calibration for you, outputting ready-to-use rotation vectors, linear acceleration, gravity and more, so your microcontroller doesn't have to do the heavy maths.
Two Qwiic connectors make it plug-and-play over I2C with no soldering, and you can also switch to SPI or UART using the onboard jumpers. An Arduino library is available to get you up and running quickly.
