Geekcreit® MEGA 2560 R3 ATmega2560-16AU MEGA2560 Development Board With USB Cable (Arduino Mega)
Description:

Arduino compatible R3 Mega2560 ATmega2560-16AU control board with USB cable
Arduino Mega is an ATmega2560 core microcontroller development board. Itself has 54 digital input/output terminals (14 PWM outputs), 16 simulation inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), using the 16 MHz crystal oscillator. With the bootloader, download the program directly via USB without having to go through other external writers. Supply part of the optional USB power, or external power using a AC-to-DC adapter and battery.
Rapid growth due to open original code, as well as the concept of using Java (cross-platform) C language development environment for Arduino module. The Arduino can easily use the Arduino language with Flash or Processing ... software communication, to make multimedia interactive works. Arduino development IDE interface is based on open-source principles, allows you to download for use in projects.
Power supply design:
There are two options for the power supply system of the Arduino Mega. USB direct power supply or external power supply. The power supply will be switched automatically. External supply AC-to-DC adapter or the battery can be selected on this control panel. Limit the voltage range of 6V ~~ 12V, but if the voltage supplied is less than 6V, I / O port may not be supplied to a voltage of 5V, and therefore not stable; If the voltage is greater than 12V, the regulator device may possibly overheat and damage the Arduino MEGA. It is therefore recommended that for the operating supply of 6.5 ~ 12V, the recommended power supply is 7.5V or 9V.
The development board have been rigorously tested at the factory.

Specification:

Microcontroller: ATmega2560
Operating voltage: 5V
Input voltage (recommended): 7-12V

Video on micro:bit https://youtu.be/Wuza5WXiMkc

The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized codeable computer with motion detection, a built-in compass, LED display, and Bluetooth technology built in.

It measures 4cm by 5cm, is available in a range of colours, and designed to be fun and easy to use. It can be coded with something simple in seconds – like lighting up its LEDs or displaying a pattern – with no prior knowledge of computing.

It also connects to other devices, sensors, kits and objects, and is a companion to Arduino, Galileo, Kano, littleBits and Raspberry Pi, acting as a spring board to more complex learning.

Each element is completely programmable via easy-to-use software on a dedicated website that can be accessed from a PC, tablet or mobile.

Product Overview

Containing 1x micro:bit and a Quick Start Guide in a single retail pack, this is the ideal option for makers to get started creating BBC micro:bit projects and inventing solutions (requires a USB cable for programming purposes, and a battery holder & 2x AAA batteries to power your BBC micro:bit if not connected to your computer - sold separately). The micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that you can code, customise and control to bring your digital ideas, games and apps to life. Measuring 4cm by 5cm, and designed to be fun and easy to use, users can create anything from games and animations to scrolling stories at school, at home and on the go - all you need is imagination and creativity. The micro:bit is completely programmable. That means each of its LEDs can be individually programmed as can its buttons, inputs and outputs, accelerometer, magnetometer and Bluetooth Smart Technology. The micro:bit has a website full of coding languages, lesson plans, tutorials, and fun ideas

    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To avoid malfunction or damage to this product, please observe the following:
    • Before connecting the device, shut down your Raspberry Pi computer and disconnect it from
    external power.
    • If the cable becomes detached, pull the locking mechanism forward on the connector, insert the ribbon
cable ensuring the metal contacts face towards the circuit board, then push the locking mechanism back into place.
    • This device should be operated in a dry environment at 0–50°C.
    • Do not expose it to water or moisture, or place on a conductive surface whilst in operation.
    • Do not expose it to excessive heat from any source.
    • Care should be taken not to fold or strain the ribbon cable.
    • Care should be taken when screwing in parts or fitting a tripod. A cross-thread can cause irreparable damage and void the warranty.
    • Take care whilst handling to avoid mechanical or electrical damage to the printed circuit board
    and connectors.
    • Avoid handling the printed circuit board whilst it is powered and only handle by the edges to minimise the risk of electrostatic discharge damage.
    • Store in a cool, dry location.
    • Avoid rapid changes of temperature, which can cause moisture build up in the device, affecting
    image quality.

VGA 666 Adapter Board For Raspberry Pi 3 Model B 2B B+ A+ (vga board red soldered)
    Description:

It is a neat and very useful solution for using a VGA display/monitor with your Raspberry Pi and is cheaper than an HDMI to VGA adapter or similar. The VGA connection is driven natively in hardware over the GPIO pins (using a parallel interface) and uses around the same CPU load as the HDMI connection on board. It is capable of displaying 1080p60 VGA video with no CPU load. It is also possible to drive this interface at the same time as the HDMI connection, so a dual screen set up is also possible.

This add-on board uses all but 6 of the GPIO pins so it may not be possible to use other add-on boards at the same time as the VGA adapter. You should disable all of the GPIO pin's function so that it can work properly.

We strongly recommend that you use 800x600 resolution. Higher resolution will slow down your Pi and use more RAM.

    Features:

    - Support for Raspberry Pi 3B / 2B / B+ / A+
    - The VGA output supports resolution:from 640 x 480 up to 1920 x 1024 at 60fps.
    - With 6 bits per channel you have a maximum of 262144 colours.
    - No soldering required.
    - Easy to setup.
    - Easy to configure.
    - Dimension: 64.00mm x 32.3mm
    - Net weight: 16.5g

    Note:

Raspberry Pi main board is not included.
