The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized codeable computer with motion detection, a built-in compass, LED display, and Bluetooth technology built in.

It measures 4cm by 5cm, is available in a range of colours, and designed to be fun and easy to use. It can be coded with something simple in seconds – like lighting up its LEDs or displaying a pattern – with no prior knowledge of computing.

It also connects to other devices, sensors, kits and objects, and is a companion to Arduino, Galileo, Kano, littleBits and Raspberry Pi, acting as a spring board to more complex learning.

Each element is completely programmable via easy-to-use software on a dedicated website that can be accessed from a PC, tablet or mobile.

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is the latest product in the Raspberry Pi 3 range, boasting a 64-bit quad core processor running at 1.4GHz, dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2/BLE, faster Ethernet, and PoE capability via a separate PoE HAT.

Product Overview

This is the main development kit I/O board into which the Compute Module SODIMM board is connected. It also contains all of the necessary interface ports to allow an engineer to design and test their own prototype application. The modules simplify the design process engineers need to undertake when developing a System on Module (SoM) solution into their final product.     The Raspberry Pi Zero features a BCM2835 chipset, overclocked to 1Ghz with 512MB RAM, and the same 1080p video output, so there's plenty of oomph in that little board. It also features the same 40 pin GPIO layout as the Raspberry Pi 2/B+/A+, which you'll need to solder your own headers to. With it's small form factor and reduction in connectors, the Raspberry Pi Zero only uses ~ 140mA at 5V!

    Unlike it's larger brothers and sisters, the Raspberry Pi Zero has an unpopulated GPIO, unpopulated composite (RCA) header and an unpopulated reset header. There's also no DSI screen port, no ethernet, no analogue audio and no full sized USB ports. Instead, the Pi Zero features a micro-USB power port, a micro USB OTG host port (for peripherals e.g. WiFi dongle), and a mini HDMI port for video.

    ModMyPi's 360 Degree Flexible Gooseneck Raspberry Pi Camera Mount enables you to hold the Raspberry Pi camera in any position - point it up, point it down and point it all around! It's incredibly versaltile, and very useful if you won't want to plop it inside a 'block' type acrylic mount. As the name suggests, the mount can be bent in 360 Degree's and 17cm end to end length allows for plenty of flexibility whilst still allowing for millimeter perfect adjustments. It's lightweight, and subsequently works with a case and without a case.

    The mount plugs directly into the USB Port on the Raspberry Pi, and is specially constructed of black anodised gooseneck tubing that's completely flexible, but stays fixed in the position it's bent into!       Notes:

      The Uno R3 requires the Arduino 1.0 drivers folder in order to install properly on some computers. We have tested and confirmed that the R3 can be programmed in older versions of the IDE. However, the first time using the R3 on a new computer, you will need to have Arduino 1.0 installed on that machine.
      The small chip is ATmega16U2, the 28 pin DIP socket chip is ATmega328-pu.

      The Raspberry Pi Camera Module comes fully assembled with a 15-Way 150mm flat, flex cable that plugs directly in the Raspberry Pi CSI port. Unfortunately the included cable is quite fragile, and can break if twisted or bent too far.
       
      Don't worry though, not all is lost if that cable does happen to break! Replacement raspberry pi camera board cables are available and it's very easy to swap them over!

      The Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 is the new and improved official camera board from the Raspberry Pi Foundation! Custom designed and manufactured by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the UK, the Raspberry Pi Camera Board V2 features an ultra-high quality 8 megapixel Sony IMX219 image sensor (up from 5MP on the V1 camera board), and a fixed focus camera lens. The V2 camera module is capable of 3280 x 2464 pixel static images, and also supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p90 video.

      The module attaches to Raspberry Pi by way of a 15 Pin Ribbon Cable, to the dedicated 15-pin MIPI Camera Serial Interface (CSI), which was designed especially for interfacing to cameras. The CSI bus is capable of extremely high data rates, and it exclusively carries pixel data to the BCM2835 processor. A 150mm CSI cable is included with every camera.
