The assembly steps:


Step 1: Welding circuit

Soldering part is simpler, welding sequence according to the principle of component level from low to high, the first welding eight resistance, is important to use multimeter to confirm resistance is correct, D4, D5 R13 R14 can temporarily not welding, integrated circuit chips can temporarily not inserted

Step 2: Mechanical assembly

The red line is connected to the 3V positive power supply, the yellow line grounding, excess wire can be used for motor wire.

Step 3: The installation of a photoelectric circuit

Photosensitive resistance and light-emitting diodes (note polarity) is reverse-mounted on the PCB, and the ground distance is about 5 mm, both photosensitive resistance and light-emitting diodes are 5 mm distance. Finally, you can power test.

Step 4: Vehicle debugging

The right direction is along the universal wheel direction, if you press and hold the left photoresistor, the wheels on the right side of the car should be rotated. Press and hold the right photoresistor, the wheels on the left side of the car should be rotated, if the car driving back, can also exchange the wiring of two motors, if the one side normal and the other side back up, as long as you can swap wiring of back side.

Notes

Grove - Ultrasonic Ranger (Grove ultrasonic sensor)
This Grove-ultrasonic sensor is a non-contact distance measurement module which is compatible with the Grove system. It's designed for easy modular project usage with industrial performance. It can measure from 3cm to 350cm with the accuracy up to 2mm. It is a perfect ultrasonic module for distance measurement, proximity sensors, and ultrasonic detector.

Compared with traditional ultrasonic modules HC-SR04, this module integrates a single-chip microcomputer, and the transmitting signal and the receiving signal share one pin by time division multiplexing, so only one I/O pin is occupied. Another difference is that HC-SR04 only supports 5V voltage, while this module supports 5V and 3.3V. As we know, the Raspberry pi I/O only supports 3.3V. Therefore, this Grove - Ultrasonic Distance Sensor can be directly connected to the I/O of the Raspberry Pi, but HC-SR04 needs to use a voltage conversion circuit.

We've stepped up our LED game! Unicorn HAT HD crams 256 RGB LEDs, in a 16x16 matrix, onto a single HAT. High-definition rainbow goodness!

You can still use it for all of the same things as the regular Unicorn HAT, but with 4 times as many pixels it makes much more complex animations possible, including scrolling text, and even low resolution videos.

The bundled ninja diffuser makes the pixels look extra-shiny by providing some subtle diffusion, blurring the lines between each pixel. Simply use four of the nuts to space the diffuser slightly away from the HAT, and the other four to secure it.

The MagPi said that Unicorn HAT HAD had a "real wow factor" and that the "performance is excellent" in their five star review.
