The SparkFun Spectral Sensor - AS7343 (Qwiic) puts a 14-channel multi-spectral sensor on a compact breakout board. It covers both visible and near-infrared light, from about 380 nm to 1000 nm, so you can capture a detailed spectral profile of a light source or surface with one chip.

The AS7343 is sensitive enough for low-light conditions and can still take readings behind dark glass or external filters. That makes it useful for colour matching, checking the spectral signature of materials, and measuring reflected, emitted or transmitted light.

The board talks over I2C and has two Qwiic connectors, so you can plug it into a Qwiic or Stemma QT system without soldering. An onboard regulator and level shifting let it run from the standard 3.3 V Qwiic supply. A white LED is fitted for reflective measurements, and there are pads if you want to add your own sensing LED.
