GY-Openlog Cleanflight Naze32 F3 Blackbox Flash Recorder Module (data logger)
Description:
 
This product is a data logger that can record data on a memory card through the uart universal serial port. This function is similar to a black box to record the data sent from the main device to the serial port and save the data as text on the memory card. This product can be used for the flight control board with cleanflight firmware. It is connected to the corresponding serial port. By setting the cleanflight configurator of the host computer software, the important operating data of the drone can be recorded on the memory card. And through the Blackbox flight data recorder software flight record playback analysis.
 
Note: After inserting the memory card for the first time, the config.txt file will be generated on the memory card, which includes the baud rate parameter of the serial port. This parameter can be modified. Please connect the flight controller or the serial port of the main circuit. The baud rate is consistent with the baud rate of the recorder.

Pi Stop - Traffic Light Add-on for Raspberry Pi (GPIO 3.3V stand traffic light)

The Pi-Stop is a low cost hardware module designed to allow Raspberry Pi users to take their first steps into interfacing with the real world.

Designed with the learning in mind, everyone will recognise and identify its familiar elements encouraging their use along-side their own projects.

Move past the Stop light

The Pi-Stop is designed to remove many of the common hurdles people are faced with when getting started using hardware with the Raspberry Pi. Often it is difficult to know what components to use and how to connect them, the Pi-Stop makes it simple by plugging directly onto pre-set positions on the Raspberry GPIO connector.

By plugging the Pi-Stop directly on to the Raspberry Pi GPIO header, no extra cables or wires are needed. Unlike many other add-on boards, they do not block unused GPIO pins, keeping them open for other uses. The Pi-Stop can be fitted in 4 standard locations, allowing up to four Pi-Stops to be controlled independently or combined with other hardware.

Prepare to go!

The Pi-Stop provides a simple stepping stone, between pure screen based programming and using physical hardware to interact with the real world. Components like the Pi-Stop will provide a flexible and non-restrictive way to build understanding through experimenting.

Since it is only a step away from a bag of components, it also allows the programming of hardware to be introduced, and the electronics involved can be introduced separately, if desired. Allowing the pupils to discover they can control real things, and then again to discover they can also build their own circuits and control them in exactly the same way.

Often, people are faced with a magic board which they plug in and tell it to do stuff, however it isn't always clear to them why or how it does it. By providing something which they can remove and replace with something (apparently) completely different (- wires, breadboards and LEDs) they will be able to understand the link.

By keeping the hardware very simple, it allows better understanding of what is happening, and allows space to come up with your own projects and apply the concepts with your own ideas in mind.

Product Description

The Kitronik Deluxe Rear Bike Light Kit is easy to build kit and is an excellent way to learn about the very popular 555 timer IC. The kit uses four ultra bright LEDs that can be operated in two modes; constant and flashing.

A key design aim of the kit was that it should conform to all relevant British Standard measures. Both the flash rate and brightness conform to British Standards for vehicle road lighting (2005), making it ideal for use as a rear bike light. Alternatively, it can be used as a night safety product or flashing eyes.

During testing we connected the kit to 3 x AAA batteries and ran it continuously. At 80 hours of continuous use the LEDs were still lit at full brightness. After 107 hours, although still lit, the brightness had dropped below the level at which you would want to use them. So, we estimate that with brand new batteries you could comfortably run the light for 2 hours of daily commuting for at least an entire month with the LEDs still at full brightness.

Based on the AMS reference design, this is a breakout board for the AS3935 digital lightning sensor. With a specially tuned antenna, SPI or I2C interfacing and a wide 2.4V to 5.5V standard operating range, this innovative sensor is designed to interface with most current development systems and boards. This includes all of the current Arduino modules!
 
The AS3935 Franklin Lightning Detector gives you lightning detection for your next weather project. This sensor is capable of detecting lightning up to 40 km away with an accuracy of 1km to the storm front! On the product is a sensitive antenna tuned to pick up lightning events in the 500kHz band. When sensing an event the AS3935 utilizes an interrupt to the interrupt pin, distinguishes between false and real lightning events, and has a number of features to help calibrate lightning detection. For example, there are settings for detecting from indoors or detecting from outdoors, settings to change the threshold for false events, and settings to be alerted only after a certain number of lightning strikes to name a few. We've also written an Arduino Library to get you prepared for that upcoming storm!
