CSI FPC Flexible Cable For Raspberry Pi 5 22Pin To 15Pin For CSI Camera Modules 500mm (Pi5 BK CSI 15/22 500mm)

Raspberry Pi 5 provides two four-lane MIPI connectors, each of which can support either a camera or a display. These connectors use the same 22-way, 0.5mm-pitch “mini” FPC format and require adapter cables to connect to the 15-way, 1mm-pitch “standard” format connectors on current Raspberry Pi camera and display products.

Note that a camera cable should not be used with a display, and vice versa.

Raspberry Pi up to date Product Brief

Take it further

If your new Raspberry Pi 4 is not displaying anything, but is booting:
Please change the following settings in the /boot/config.txt setting. You can access these settings in a few ways.

1. Using another display to access the file:   sudo nano /boot/config.txt
2. Insert the SD card into a computer/laptop and open the boot partition

Uncomment and change or add to the bottom of the file:

hdmi_safe=1
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=81 (or 39 this will depend on the type of display)
config_hdmi_boost=9
dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
max_framebuffers=2

Not all of these settings may be necessary, this will again depend on your type of display, however adding them all and removing one by one will help find the ones you may need.

Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (with Pre-Soldered Header) (zero2W header board)

This is an official Raspberry Pi 2 W that has had a header pre-soldered inhouse.

Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is the latest product in our most affordable range of single-board computers. The successor to the breakthrough Raspberry Pi Zero W, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a form factor–compatible drop-in replacement for the original board.

The board incorporates a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 CPU, clocked at 1GHz. At its heart is a Raspberry Pi RP3A0 system-in-package (SiP), integrating a Broadcom BCM2710A1 die with 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM. The upgraded processor provides Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W with 40% more single-threaded performance, and five times more multi-threaded performance, than the original single-core Raspberry Pi Zero.

Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W offers 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.2, along with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and modular compliance certification.

The board has a microSD card slot, a CSI-2 camera connector, a USB On-The-Go (OTG) port, and an unpopulated footprint for a HAT-compatible 40-pin GPIO header. It is powered via a micro USB socket. Video output is via a mini HDMI port; composite video output can easily be made available via test points if needed.

Sharing the same form factor as the original Raspberry Pi Zero, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W fits inside most existing Raspberry Pi Zero cases.

Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Display (Official) (display 7inch official)

Please note: You will have to buy a different DSI cable to use with Raspberry Pi 5.

The display will technically work with the Model A and Model B boards (connecting it to the DSI port on the Pi board), however the mounting holes on the back of the display will only line up with the newer board design (A , B , Pi2, Pi3, Pi4 and Pi5)

Boasting a neat 800×480 display @ 60fps resolution, and 10 point capacitive touchscreen, this 7" screen for the Raspberry Pi gives users the ability to create all-in-one, integrated projects such as tablets, infotainment systems and embedded projects.

The 800x 480 display connects via an adapter board which handles power and signal conversion. Only two connections to the Pi are required; power from the Pi’s GPIO port and a ribbon cable that connects to the DSI port present on all Raspberry Pi’s. Touchscreen drivers with support for 10-finger touch and an on-screen keyboard are available on the latest Raspbian OS for full functionality without a physical keyboard or mouse.

  • Turn your Raspberry Pi into a touchscreen tablet, infotainment system, or standalone device.
  • Truly Interactive - the latest software drivers will support a virtual ‘on screen’ keyboard, so there is no need to plug in a keyboard and mouse.
  • Make your own ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) devices including a visual display. Simply connect your Raspberry Pi, develop a Python script to interact with the display, and you’re ready to create your own home automation devices with touchscreen capability.
  • A range of educational software and programs available on the Raspberry Pi will be touch enabled, making learning and programming easier on the Raspberry Pi.
  • Raspberry Pi mounting points on the back

Technical Specifications

  • 800×480 RGB LCD display
  • 24-bit colour
  • Industrial quality: 140-degree viewing angle horizontal, 130-degree viewing angle vertical
