The SparkFun Non-Invasive Current Sensor - ADE7953 (Qwiic) lets you monitor the power used by AC appliances over I2C. It is built around the Analog Devices ADE7953 energy metering IC, which provides accurate current and energy measurements.
Measurement is non-invasive: simply clip an external current transformer (clamp) around one live conductor and plug it into the board's 3.5mm jack, with no need to cut or splice any mains wiring. Note that the board measures AC current only, as the voltage channel is not broken out.
Two Qwiic connectors make it easy to daisy-chain into your Qwiic system, while solder jumpers let you switch from I2C to SPI or UART if your project needs it.
Please note: the current clamp is not included and must be purchased separately.
