The SparkFun Qwiic Motor Driver is a compact dual-channel driver for small DC motors, controlled over I2C. It packs the core of SparkFun's Serial Controlled Motor Driver (SCMD), including the same PSoC controller and two motor channels, into a smaller board with Qwiic connectors for plug-and-play wiring.
Each channel can deliver 1.2A continuously and 1.5A peak, with 127 levels of drive strength. Motors and power connect through screw terminals, so the whole setup needs no soldering. You can also control it over TTL UART if you prefer.
The board uses 3.3V logic, so add a logic level converter when connecting it to a 5V system. The I2C address defaults to 0x5D and can be changed with jumpers, which lets you run several drivers on the same bus.
