Are you working on a project involving a fire-detecting robot or a smart system that requires flame detection? This versatile sensor module is tailor-made for your needs. Equipped with a flame sensor and an adjustable digital filter for digital output, it also retains the original analog output. This allows you to seamlessly integrate it into your setup either as a digital input or an analog input sensor, offering the flexibility of a minimum 3-wire interface or an optional 4-wire connection that utilizes both digital and analog functionalities.
Designed to detect fire or other light sources within the wavelength range of 760 nm to 1100 nm, the flame sensor has a pivotal role in scenarios such as fire-fighting robots and soccer robots. With a wide detection angle of 60 degrees and high sensitivity to the flame spectrum, this sensor serves as the "eyes" of the robot, enabling it to identify fire sources or specialized light sources like those used in a soccer game. The module even features M3 mounting holes for convenient installation onto your robot.
Operational within a temperature range of -25 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, the flame sensor must maintain a safe distance from the flame during operation to prevent damage. It's compatible with various microcontrollers that support digital or analog input, such as PIC, SK40C, SK28A, SKds40A, and the Arduino series. Moreover, when coupled with a relay module, it can serve as a flame switch for added functionality.Features

PLA (Polylactic acid) stands as an eco-friendly, odorless, and easily degradable material. Derived from renewable sources like corn or starch, it's a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester. Unlike ABS, PLA boasts a lower extrusion temperature and typically doesn't need a heated bed. It's the default choice for many desktop 3D printers, offering:
- Exceptional toughness, strength, and stiffness
- Nozzle clogs are rare; it adheres well to the print bed, resulting in smooth prints
- Minimal shrinkage, ensuring dimensional stability during thermoforming
- Precise 1.75mm diameter with minimal variations (+/-0.05mm) and roundness (+/-0.03mm)
Unique attributes:
- Diameter tolerance within +/-0.02
- Our modified PLA is less brittle, offering flexibility and a shelf life of at least one year
- Significantly tougher than standard PLA, enhancing strength and impact resistance
- Outstanding layer adhesion
- Exhibits high rigidity and a glossy finish.

The Active Cooler provides an alternative cooling solution for users who wish to use their Raspberry Pi 5 under sustained heavy load without a case. It combines a large metal heatsink with a variable-speed blower, again powered and controlled via the fan connector, and attaches to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB via sprung pins into a pair of mounting holes.

The Active Cooler is a single-piece anodized aluminium heatsink with an integrated blower. It has pre-applied thermal pads for heat transfer, and is mounted to the Raspberry Pi 5 board directly using spring-loaded push pins. It is actively managed by the Raspberry Pi firmware:
- at 60°C the blower’s fan will be turned on
- at 67.5°C fan speed will be increased
- and finally at 75°C the fan increases to full speed.
When the temperature drops back below these limits, the blower’s fan will spin down automatically.
The product includes
- A single-piece anodized aluminium heatsink
- Heatsink-mounted, temperature-controlled fan
- 5V blower fan with max speed of 8000RPM
- Four wires: power, ground, PWM, and tachometer
- Spring-loaded push pins for mounting onto Raspberry Pi 5
- Pre-applied thermal pads for heat transfer

Interstate 75 W is a Pico W-based driver board for HUB75-style LED matrices. It's designed to plug neatly into the back of a LED panel, and provides a quick and easy way to whip up some scrolling signage or an eye-catching LED display for sensor outputs. Because it has a Raspberry Pi Pico W aboard you can also use it to display information from the internet!
I75 W is powered from the Pico W's micro-USB port, which should also be able to power a few connected panels happily, assuming you're not planning anything too eye-bleedingly bright. There's also two useful buttons, a reset button and an onboard RGB LED.
Features
- Raspberry Pi Pico W Aboard
- Powered by RP2040 (Dual Arm Cortex M0+ running at up to 133Mhz with 264kB of SRAM)
- 2MB of QSPI flash supporting XiP
- Powered and programmable by USB micro-B
- 2.4GHz wireless
- Compatible with our 32x32, 32x64 and 64x64 LED matrices.
- Sturdy screw terminals for powering the LED panels.
- Qw/ST (Qwiic/STEMMA QT) connector
- Two user buttons
- Reset button
- RGB LED
- Fully-assembled (no soldering required)
- Measurements: approx 64.3 x 40 x 18mm (L x W x H, including connectors)
- C++/MicroPython libraries
- Schematic
Software
Our C++/MicroPython libraries include support for Interstate 75 W. You'll get best performance using C++, but if you're a beginner we'd recommend using our batteries included MicroPython build for ease of getting started. Our HUB75 module lets you draw individual pixels to your matrices and uses RP2040's PIO state machines and DMA to minimise CPU usage and maximise luscious, 10-bit gamma corrected colour depth.
Alternatively, you can draw on your LED matrices using our lightweight PicoGraphics library, which includes convenient functions for displaying text and shapes, and we've provided some examples to get you started. Note that if you're chaining panels, PicoGraphics only currently supports these specific arrangements of matrix panels (WxH):
- 32x32, 64x32, 96x32, 128x32
- 64x64, 128x64, 192x64, 256x64
